Jimmy grew up in Central Ohio where he spent time as a child playing in the riverbanks with friends collecting clay and making small primitive items. Truthfully, this was more about having fun and getting muddy than creating anything functional. His grandmother and mother worked in the pottery buisness in Roseville Ohio, an area well known for pottery at that time.  Jimmy moved to Western NC when he was a teenager.  He graduated from UNC-Ashville and spent years working in the nursery buisness growing plants.  Jimmy is a self-taught potter.  He enjoys the art of wheel throwing, hand building and the science of playing with the chemistry of creating his own glazes.   He finds inspiration from the beauty around him in the cycles of life and seasons in Western NC. 

Molly was born and raised in Waynesville NC.  Growing up in the mountains, it took some time to realize that not everyone was blessed to live in such a beautiful area surrounded by so many talented artisans.  Molly works full time as a social worker in the mental health field.  In her free time, her adult children like to refer to her as a serial crafter.  In addition to pottery, she enjoys knitting, sewing and metalsmithing.  Molly enjoys slab building ceramic pieces.  Recently she has been focused on combing her love of making ceramic pieces with her love of making jewelry.
